For anyone who is having the same problem, I contacted epic and this worked for me: Right-click on the hidden icons chevron (up arrow) in the lower right corner of the screen Right-click on the Epic Games Launcher icon. Select Exit. Open the directory where Fortnite is installed Typically it's at: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite Right-click: BuildInfo.ini Select Delete. Right-click on the Epic Games desktop shortcut. Select Launch as Administrator. Select Library. Click on the meatball menu (three dots) next to Fortnite. Select Manage. Select Verify Files. This may take a while. Try launching Fortnite again.

I think I got a fake one because the plastic like you mentioned doesn’t look legit BUT it has everything from the real one when it comes to the back sticker and the box and the sound of it. So I’m really confused 😂
